The magic eraser should NOT affect the paint...i completely agree that if it doesn't work, just pour a martini :)

Mr Clean Eraser comes in EXTRA strength now so maybe that will work? If not, go and choose some new paint colors for the room! And I 2nd the martini ;) but you may need a few of those.
